 We met at the Sears on OP, all 25 of us, and got off headed south by 8 AM. After a fine ride we arrived at Black Water Creek cozily tucked among the pines.

Between these two pix you can get an idea of what the central shed complex looks like
Black Water's quarentine building houses 6 huge circular tanks.  The whole affair is filtered by a single 60 micron screen filter and two large bio filters. blackwater8.JPG (344419 bytes)

 We saw small fish in a feeding frenzy, huge breed stock and other fish ready to be shipped out to far away parts of the country.

 Joe and his crew showed us how they seine a pond and get the fish up where they can be worked on.   Some of us pitched right in like Connie Langston and pulled the net along with the fish men.

The day ended with us getting a chance to buy some very nice fish.
